My name is Francesca and I love creating accessories for you, dear Modern Gentleman.
I started some years back, quite by chance, when I decided to follow my path and start a new job from scratch. After years as a web-designer and front-end developer I felt the need to make things in the real world and not just in the digital/virtual one. EF Accessories is the fruit of that process. I re-learned to sew, use my hands and I focused on male accessories for the sake of discovery and adventure, fascinated by the apparent simplicity of men’s attire. My inspiration comes from vintage and antique male apparel, and the care and attention that was given to the smallest of details in the past!

I live and work in Italy, travelling between my home town in green Umbria, a central Italian region of saints and medieval villages, and Milan, fashion and design capital. All this greatly influences what I do, as I’m caught between past and future, always trying to interpret what once was into what it can become. I love Jane Austen and Philip Dick, Downton Abbey, Mad Men and Orphan Black, Manet and Andy Warhol.

Most of all, I love creating accessories for you to wear and to make you feel special, for either your wedding day, a formal evening or a night out with friends.
